So, A day after the series ended, former South Africa captain Graeme Smith extolled Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya, underlining the best qualities of Team India.

DK has performed the finishing role in the past. According to Graeme Smith on’s YouTube channel, Hardik has substantially improved and is fully in control of his game.

So, he appeared to have mentally settled down. With him and Jadeja on the squad, India will have the all-around X-Factor they require. Which provides a wide range of options, and he is also adept at carrying out his assignment. I can’t imagine how those two wouldn’t be selected for the final 15 (World Cup roster),” he continued.

So, Hardik will lead Team India in the upcoming two-game T20I series against Ireland, which gets underway on June 26. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will serve as his assistant for the remainder of the series.
