Will Sanju Samson Have a Chance in India and the West Indies’ Second Twenty20 International?
On Monday, the second T20I of the five-match series between West Indies and India will be played.
So team India will want to continue their winning streak against the West Indies in the second T20I on Monday after winning the opening T20I of the five-match series. Although it would be entertaining to watch Sanju Samson play center for India, it now looks doubtful because head coach Rahul Dravid dislikes making substantial changes, especially when the team is winning. The team’s decision to continue the experiment or whether they have someone else in mind to open alongside skipper Rohit will be interesting to watch.
India should start with these players in the second T20I, in our opinion.
Rohit Sharma: So in the first T20I, the captain performed brilliantly, scoring 64 runs off just 44 balls. He now hopes to carry out similar actions in the future.
Suryakumar Yadav: After producing a 24-run knock despite having some hits and some misses, it will be decided whether or not the batter opens the following game.
Shreyas Iyer: Despite playing well in the ODI series, Iyer struggled in the first T20I and was dismissed for a duck. It will be intriguing to watch if he continues or if Sanju Samson fills his position.
Rishabh Pant: So despite just having 14 points, the left-hander struggled to get going. He is under more pressure in the T20I format and truly needs a high score.
Hardik Pandya: The all-around player, Hardik Pandya, gave a dismal performance. His performance this year suggests that he shouldn’t be ignored. Going into the T20 World Cup, he is one of the team’s X-factors.
Dinesh Karthik: The batsman performed a terrific job for India in the first T20I by smashing 41 runs off just 19 balls to put the game away.
Ravindra Jadeja: He was deemed unfit for the ODI series against the West Indies. Ravindra Jadeja is a versatile player. He did, however, make a comeback in the first T20I, hitting 16 runs and grabbing one wicket.
Ravichandran Ashwin: Ravichandran Ashwin, an off-spinner, claimed two wickets in the opening T20I while bowling quickly and without allowing any runs. He was also quite useful with the bat.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: In just two overs of bowling in the first game, the seamer conceded 11 runs and took one wicket. The emphasis will mostly be on his performance in the upcoming games because he has been in terrific form this season.
Arshdeep Singh: The seamer showed outstanding tenacity in maintaining his poise despite taking a few harsh blows from Kyle Mayers in the opening T20I. Finally, he returns with a list of numbers ranging from 2 to 24.
Ravi Bishnoi: The spinner, who took two wickets in the first game, was effective. The spinner exceeded Rohit’s high expectations for him or met them.
