Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Nick Kyrgios Fierce Wimbledon Match

Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Nick Kyrgios Fierce Wimbledon Match Rant at Chair Umpire, from the video “Are You Dumb?”
For the offenses they committed during their turbulent Wimbledon third-round match, Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas were both fined.

Nick Kyrgios overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas in a tense Wimbledon encounter on Saturday to go to the round of 16. The Australian star overcame a set disadvantage to upset the World No. 4 6-7 (2/7), 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (9/7) in a nail-biting third-round showdown. In the midst of the heated encounter, Kyrgios even referred to the chair umpire as a “disgrace” and asked, “Are you dumb?” So Kyrgios begged the chair umpire to disqualify Tsitsipas from the match even after he fired a ball into the spectators. The conflict between the two athletes even affected the news conferences that took place after the game.

As seen in the video below, Nick Kyrgios raged at the chair umpire during his Wimbledon match against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

During his Wimbledon encounter against Stefanos Tsitsipas, Nick Kyrgios yelled at the chair umpire in the video below.

$4000 to #Kyrgios for seven use of the F-words? Additionally threatening, he ridiculed Tsitsipas about a missed return, called the chair umpire things like “stupid,” “dumb,” and “a disgrace” at least six times, stopped/interrupted play, insulted two linesmen, and spoke throughout the match. In the press conference after the match, the fourth-seeded Greek claimed that Kyrgios was “a bully” and had a “evil side.”

“Bullying is what he does all the time; it’s who he is. He terrorizes his rivals. Most likely, he was the bully in school. I abhor bullying.

“He has some admirable traits as well.

But he also has a very nasty side, and if that side is shown, it might injure and harm many of his friends and family members.

Kyrgios spoke with an identical level of candor.

He suggested that perhaps he should practice defeating me a few more times before going on to that.

“I’m not sure how I handled him badly. He was the one who threw the balls at me, hit a bystander with one, and then smacked the ball out of the stadium. I did nothing.

“Stefanos wasn’t treated poorly by me today. He is weak to come in here and accuse me of treating him unfairly. We do not share the same materials. If that affects him, then that’s what’s keeping him from moving forward “He added.

For violations they made throughout the game, Tsitsipas and Kyrgios each earned penalties.

So Tsitsipas was sentenced to USD 10,000 while the Australian was fined USD 4,000 for using vulgar language that could be heard.

In addition, Kyrgios received a $10,000 punishment for his poor sportsmanship during the first round of play.
