Ravichandran Ashwin Bowlers Who Run Out Non-Strikers Who Back Up Too Far Win the Bravery Award.
Ashwin suggested that the ICC create a bravery award for bowlers who run out batsmen at the non-end because of the embarrassment of the act. striker’s
Deepti Sharma controversially ran Charlie Dean out during the third and final one-day international between India and England. She was backing too far ahead as the ball was going to be tossed. Sam Billings, a wicketkeeper and batsman, was one of the first English cricketers to tweet their displeasure following the match. Anyone who has played the game cannot possibly think that this is suitable. Cricket, however, is not.
He said, “Not even glanced at the other end in delivery stride,” in a following tweet. James Anderson, an English pitcher, retorted, “Right on. There is no desire to bowl the ball.

Anderson was told, “Imagine how many more wickets you could get,” as Billings continued his jest.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) should create a bravery award for bowlers who run out batsmen at the non-end striker’s, according to Ravichandran Ashwin, who weighed in on the issue on Sunday.
“I believe that is an excellent concept. Be mindful of the potential social reaction before awarding the wicket to the bowler who displayed “presence of mind” under extreme circumstances. @ICC, how about a compliment for having the guts to follow through?

In fact that’s a great idea. How about awarding that wicket to the bowler for “ presence of mind” under immense pressure and of course knowing the social stigma that he/she would have to deal with post doing it. How about a bravery award to go with it too @ICC ? https://t.co/9PqqetnnGw

Deepti ran out Dean in the 44th over because she was reversing her position excessively before the ball was released from the hand. As a result, India won the match by 16 runs. It is hardly unexpected that some of the England cricketers were in the mood to accept this wicket because this type of dismissal has historically sparked a wide range of opposing viewpoints.
Remember that the ICC announced certain adjustments to the playing field earlier this month.
The ICC declared that the “Playing Conditions follow the Laws” by shifting the “running out of the non-striker” strategy from the “Unfair Play” section to the “Run out” section.
Dean, the final English wicket to fall, shook hands with the Indian athletes and then walked away in tears.
She entered the match with the score at 65/7 and England aiming for 170 runs. She and the skipper, Amy Jones, also ran 38 runs together. Dean continued to compete even after Jones was replaced and Kate Cross dropped a match to Jhulan Goswami. Despite her retirement, she kept England’s prospects positive.
However, Deepti’s run-out enabled India to win the series and gave Jhulan Goswami a win in the championship game.
