In the opening One-Day International of the three-match series against England on Tuesday at the Kennington Oval, the partnership reached this milestone. They completed it in 12 delivery. With this achievement, the two became the fourth pair in the world. So Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly are at the top of the list with a combined total of 6,609 runs.
